A previous person had attempted to get CRM installed in our lab, so I have had to remove everything on the servers and redo. I have the client running fine under our mail admin account, but when I try and run Outlook (2003) with any of the 3 test users we have setup, they all get an error when opening Outlook (There is a problem communicating with CRM Server, then other errors).

I re-installed the Outlook client using our mail admin account, specifiying the new URL and it works fine. I can't seem to find how to change the URL for all users or see where these profiles are looking.

just to rule out authentication - have you tried to go to the browser for those users and just type in CRM (so CRM not in Outlook)??? All the Windows authentication that is going on had me spinning when we first installed...

The webclient works for all users. The Outlook client only works for the user profile that installed the application.

check out this reg key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSCRM

a few other things to check from when we had similar issues
- Add the crm web site in the Trusted sites in Internet Explorer.
- Check in IE/Tools/Options/Security/Trustes Sites/Custom Level that
the automatic logon is checked.
- Check in IE/Tools/Options/Advanced that the Enable Intgerated
Authentification is enabled (only really matters for reports but
should be there anyway)
