Crystal Reports with Ellipse 5.2.3.6

Crystal Reports with Ellipse 5.2.3.6

(OP)
We are would like to explore the possibilities of using Crystal Reports with Ellipse 5.2.3.6 before we go to Service Pack 7 where we could use Business Objects instead of Corvu.  The thinking is that SP 7 is still some time away and moving to Crystal Reports now would give us a head start when Business Objects is introduced.

We currently use Corvu and my question is:
Is there a comparable data dictionary like the Corvu Knowledge Library that can be used with Business Objects, and if so where can I obtain a copy?

Thanks in advance

RE: Crystal Reports with Ellipse 5.2.3.6

The KL of BO is called Universe, and Mincom distributes several Universes to support the BO reports.
I do not see how using Crystal Reports would help you with BO, as they are totally different reporting solutions I believe.
