Pervasive with Macola - Helping deleting data

Pervasive with Macola - Helping deleting data

Pervasive with Macola - Helping deleting data

(OP)
We are using Macola Progression 7.6.200 with latest Pervasive.SQL for database.

Here's our problem: Production Order Module

We have few orders which have been deleted, but still in the system. It is still allocating parts for the order even though the order was completed. The allocations and inventory numbers are off, as a result.

=> We cannot go and Unrelease, then delete the order because the order is not there and we get "Nothing in Range" error.

=> Under Manual Entry, the order shows up, with a status of P - printed. All the options are inactive, except for the notes and comments.

=> Everytime we generate a report, all these orders print(300+pages)

Any ideas on how to resolve the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can I you use pervasive control center too manually delete these orders? If so, How can I delete them? Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Pervasive with Macola - Helping deleting data

This sounds more like a Macola issue.  I would suggest posting in the Macola forum (http://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=639)

To answer your specific Pervasive, if Macola has a database setup or provides DDFs, you can issue SQL statements through the PCC.  As far as deleting the orders, you would need to know more about how these orders are actually stored in the database so you delete only the orders you want to delete.  There may be multiple references in the database.  I'm not familiar with Macola at all.
