Exporting points (comma delimited)
Exporting points (comma delimited)
(OP)
When I export a group of points PNEZD (Comma Delimited) it places a space after the comma. My surveying equipment will not recognize this format. How can I export points without the space after the comma.
(I know a word processor you can find and replace, but I don't want to every time I export points)
Thanks in advance.

RE: Exporting points (comma delimited)
I thought that opening it an excel then re-saving it might do i; it removed space before numbers but added spaces before text.
RE: Exporting points (comma delimited)
I go to points-
export points-
choose the format PNEZD etc...
It always gives me the coordinates in this format- PNEZD
1, 5000.000, 10000.000, 100.00, Cntl
I want it in this format-
1,5000.000,10000.000,100.00,Cntl
RE: Exporting points (comma delimited)
Someone else provided a lisp routine to export to file without spaces, don't know if is otherwise the correct format.
**edit**
According to this thread
http://d
this problem was corrected in SP1. And there is a SP2a out also.
Hope this helps!
RE: Exporting points (comma delimited)
If I have time I will write my own lisp routine.
There lisp routine writes to an SDR33 Data Collector.
I want to write to a .txt file from a point group.
"Find and Replace" Bahhhh!!!!
