MM3.0 Forwarding Voicemail from TUI - Not sending EMAIL Notification

MM3.0 Forwarding Voicemail from TUI - Not sending EMAIL Notification

(OP)
We're having a problem with MM 3.0 when we forward, reply or create a message from the TUI. It does not send an email notification. If a call is missed and goes to voicemail, the notification is sent fine. The voicemail will still show up in the client, just not the notification.

We are a Notes shop, and have deployed the Thick Client.

Folks depend on this notification being sent to their Blackberry, so it's gained some visibility.

Are we missing something in the config or is this by design?

Can this Notification Message be sent via SMS as opposed to email?

Thanks,
CJH

RE: MM3.0 Forwarding Voicemail from TUI - Not sending EMAIL Notification

This is the way it works.  It will only send a notification if the message is from an outside caller and not a user on the system.

Ya I know it is bad but they say they are going to change it in 3.1 i think.

Great thanks for the reply Ken... We're in a holding pattern until then I guess.
