Passing Char * to an event!!

Passing Char * to an event!!

Passing Char * to an event!!

I am currently working on a project.I'am writing a ATL application that will work on C#..Here my question is

STDMETHODIMP CArgFwATL::initConfig(void)
        char*a=(char *)malloc(10);
    return S_OK;
this method passes a char * to an event
HRESULT Fire_eventInitConfig( CHAR * param)

when i handle Fire_eventInitConfig(Char * param)in C# i just get 115 instead of string "sec ".I mean i get the ascii value of the first char of string which is "s"..

please show me a way to handle this problem..How to pass Char * and user defined structures to a event..
