Sidekick 99 crashing problem

Sidekick 99 crashing problem

(OP)
I've been using Sidekick 99 for years and love it.  Lately, however, a problem has cropped up.  I can add new Recurring Events OK, but if I try to delete or modify them in any way, the Sidekick program locks up and crashes.  Also, I've noticed that no description of my list of Recurring Events shows up on the editing window.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

RE: Sidekick 99 crashing problem

Dear jazzman111,

I saw a post of yours from back in February this year and I think it might be an idea to go to Sidekick98 as it is as I have said before still useful, in fact I cannot work out how you can still be using the calendar.
See the warning on my website

Plus it is useful to read the FAQ pages at the website too.

Thanks, James.  Sorry for the delay in responding--I guess I must have missed the email notification of your posting.  I don't use the "Due Date" feature on the calendar, but until this problem with trying to delete recurring events came up, I've had no other problems with using the calendar.  I have a Pentium IV with Windows XP Media Edition.  But I did have a look at the comparison chart on the website you referred to and Sidekick 98 does have a lot more features, so I'm going to have another go at it.  (I think I began using SK 99 mainly because it was providing me with all the functionality I need, plus I like the greatr eye-appeal it has over earlier versions.)
