1. Is the 8EXT compatible with Comcast Digital Voice. If so how is the interface handled?

2. Can the ringers be changed from a ring tone to a chime? If so how?

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

(OP)

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

(OP)
WOW! You are using vocabulary that I don't understand and that I need to communicate to the Comcast Technician. In view of that can you explain what you are referring to? Thanks

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

I will go slow is this an existing system?
how many outside  telephone lines are active on your
panasonic system now?

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

(OP)
Yes this is an existing system with four outside lines and the installation company is no where to be found. I would like one to be comcast digital to try it out and then maybe later converting all of them if I like the service. Comcast does not understand the system or the solution.

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

(OP)
Tiburon, CA 94920 just over the GG Bridge from San Francisco.

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

there are guys within 5 miles of you certified on the TD

RE: Panasonic 8EXT

The 8EXT aka TD170 is an 8 station expansion unit, NOT for CO lines! Use the TD180 for CO lines...
