One Scanner TWO Pcs

One Scanner TWO Pcs

(OP)
Hi - I would like to use one barcode scanner to send the same data to TWO different programs - I guess running on TWO PCs for ease of implementation.

The scan as to be processed in real time - not batch fed.

Application.
I have a stock checking in system belonging to a customer, but want to be able to keep data of the stock so that we can dispute any discrepency.

I have thought about two RF bases and one RF scanner - but have a feeling this might only work on simple scanners, with no scan received check........Any ideas?

RE: One Scanner TWO Pcs

Did you try it to see what happens? Does it send data to both PC's?
also contact the Scanner manufacturer and get their imput as to a solution
