VMWare copy paste doesnt work

VMWare copy paste doesnt work

VMWare copy paste doesnt work

(OP)
Hi all,

I have vmware on my laptop. When i start some environments i couldnt copy some files from my system to the vmware sessions. I'm connecting to the vmware environments via remote desktop connections and i have checked the option to want my local disks etc.

This problem occurs only when i'm out of the network. When im in the network, everythings works fine. I have heard that i must install the microsoft loopback adapter, but i have still the problem.

Does anybody know the golden solution...

RE: VMWare copy paste doesnt work

Its probably because when you are not connected to the network, your network connection is not bound.
Installing the loopback adapter will work, but you must ensure that you configure the appropriate VM Bridge number on both the loopback connector and your VM Systems NIC.

You will also need to configure TCP/IP settings on each as well.
