ANI Card Conncetion in HiCom 150E

ANI Card Conncetion in HiCom 150E

I recently bought an ANI Kit for the HiCom 150E, it came with a cable that goes to the TMGL4 cards and the board itself.  How do I connect the rest of it to the HiCom?  There are 2 other interfaces on the ANI card itself, but I have no idea where they plug into and what kind of cable I'd need.  Somewhere I read about an "OPAL" cable, but I am not sure what that is.  Thanks for the help.

RE: ANI Card Conncetion in HiCom 150E

I finally got a shop that sold the OPAL able.  It's a short ribbon cable that connects the ANI card (on top) to the main board.  I think the only remaining interface on the ANI card is to daisy chain other "OPTION" cards like additional ANI cards, etc. with another such ribbon cable.

With the cable in place, we now have caller ID for incoming calls. Whohooo...

RE: ANI Card Conncetion in HiCom 150E

Great info! Well done.

So how much did all of this cost?

Does this give you caller name, or just number?

I have a 150e I want to install at home, but the wife won't settle for anything that does not have Caller ID.

RE: ANI Card Conncetion in HiCom 150E

The ANI kit cost us about $190 and another $40 for the OPAL cable.  The card however only supports caller ID, no caller name.
