I want to hyperlink from the Intranet to an Access database.  If I put a hyperlink in FrontPage to Word, Excel, or Powerpoint, and publish, the application opens and I am able to use the application

When I try to open Access I get the following message:
"The publisher could not be verified.  Are you sure you want to run this software?  Name:  DB.mdb   Publisher:  Unknown Publisher."  When I click RUN, it never opens Access.

If I use CTRL-click to follow they hyperlink in FrontPage, the database opens.

Any ideas?  Our Internet group is stumped...

RE: REPOST

You are having no luck getting an answer possibly because you aren't asking the right people.

This isn't really a FrontPage question - it is a Internet_Explorer/Security/Windows SP2 question.

Please understand, I am simply empathasizing with you and since I don't know what to advise, I am trying to point you in the general direction of people who are more likely to know about Windows SP2, IE, and security settings.

Thanks for the reply.  I had also posted to Internet Security with no response there either.  I have put in a new thread to Information Security.
