  Hi again,
  just need help and advice on my task...since i dont have a real background on barcoding

  my task is to create an ID w/ barcodes. and those IDs will be use as clock-in/out upon swipping in the barcode-reader.
So I need to record the date/time into my database.

 hope this is possible...

 Q: how can I get and record the value?(id number and date-time)
 
 any links and advice would be great.
