816 - tvs50 auto attendant


It is 12:53 AM and I have read every post and tried to decipher all of the panasonic manuals i have and all the panasonic manuals i have downloaded to no avail.  I am three days into this and at my wits end.

I have installed an 816 and a tvs50 in my own office and have been able to get everything running except the auto attendant.    Currently I have set it to manual day-night mode but that is not adaquate as during the day, in day mode, the auto atendant does not answer and my office manager and the others here are ready to kill me, not to mention the callers who are trying to get through to us.

I have tried everything described in the posts regarding the configuration for this but nothing seems to work.  I would gladly pay someone to help me over the phone or even to come out here, but if anyone out there can describe the process to get this auto attendant answer the phone after 4 rings i would be eternally greatful.

thats why we get the big bucks....ha ha
well the 816 is an easy enough system to work with but you will have to give more info if you want to get it sorted
1. do you have software for the phone system & voice mail?
2. when caller arrives how do you want the 2 systems to react?
ie:calls to a reception,then to AA or to a group then to AA
