Went to a new customer site today. They were complaing the no one could leave a message. Found the callpilot mailbox was not assigned to any phone and had never been checked. There were 1420 messages in the mail box. We did not know how to delete the messages in bulk. Is there a way? Also, when we attempted to delete 100 or so messages so other messages could be left, the Callpilot locked up and denied all access. After waiting 20 minutes or so we power cycled the callpilot, and all mailboxes and messsages had been deleted. Anyone have any knowledge concering the deletion of a block of messages in the genral delivery box?

Thanks

I don't know of any way to delete blocks of messages from the GD mailbox. If I could get a backup of the Call Pilot I'd do a reinstall and then restore programming to purge all messages. You can disable the GD mailbox if it's not being used. Login to F983, then press 6 to disable.
