Problems copying DVD to wmv file

Problems copying DVD to wmv file

(OP)
I am lost

I am in no way a media guy. But I am helping with our new church web site. We would like to convert our weekly sermons from DVD to a wmv file to be streamed on the web. I have tried about three softwares and they all stop at the same place. About 90 seconds into the copy process. The audio visual guys at church say they don't know what they are doing when they put it on DVD that would make it do that.

Can anyone help? Very desperate.

RE: Problems copying DVD to wmv file

There must be the original digital video around (otherwise you couldn't have made the DVD!) so use that instead?

I spoke with the A/V guys and they say that the direct live feed saves straight to a video disc and that is the one that they have given me.
