Get External Data Problem

All,
I am not sure if this is the right forum, but if it is not please forgive and let me know the right area.

I am trying to do the following:

In access 2003, I am going to File / Get External Data / Link Tables... / In the next dialogue window that comes up I go to Files of Type area and select ODBC Databases, but nothing is happening when I do this.

I don't get an error or I don't get the next dialogue window that should come up.

What could be wrong?

Please help someone.

Do you have a Data Source Name (DSN) created for the database you want to import?

I just tried that and I still can't get that dialogue window to come up.

Any other ideas?
