Onstream DI30 + Fedora Core 5 (Linux)

Hi ...

Just got a question. I installed FC5 not too long ago (obviously, since it was released recently).

I therefore run kernel I believe it's called.. I also installed my DI30 drive and dmesg | grep -i onstream gives me an indication that my drive is an OnStream DI-30 which is dubbed 'hdd'. Great.

However, there is no /dev/hdd nor will it accept anything else; is there something I must do first? I can find my way around Linux slowly but surely, but with these kinds of things I'm lost..
