Unable to install Sidekick99

(OP)
Have used Sidekick for many years.  Had 99 installed on PC using Windows XP.  It failed to boot up when attempted to open with short  cut.   Tried to reinstall from original disk, to no avail.   Uninstalled the program and cleaned the registry of references to Starfish and others that I could find  related to Sidekick99.  Renamed wininit.ini to .old,  moved rundll32.exe around, and out, to no avail.  Got no messages.  Screen shows Demoshield to  be activated  and then dies down.  Would appreciate and help that you would  be good enough to give me.     Minero

RE: Unable to install Sidekick99

Dear Minero,

The Sidekick99 calendar doesn't really work any more and Sidekick98 + the SK98 Patch handles all the other stuff better.
It will also open the Sidekick99 Calendar although the multi-day events will become lots of single-day events.
Try installing Sidekick98 + the patch
