we are receiving mails from outside but while sending mails from MDaemon 6.8.5  the SMTP (out) log shows  

Attempting MX: P=005 D=yahoo.com TTL=(30) MX=[mx4.mail.yahoo.com] {}
Attempting SMTP connection to [ : 25]
Waiting for socket connection...
Winsock Error 10060 The connection timed out.
This message is 1 minutes old; it has 59 minutes left in this queue
SMTP session abnormally terminated, 0 bytes transferred.

any valuable suggestion would be highly obliged

Do you have proper reverse DNS records set up for your IP address? You can check it out at www.dnsstuff.com and run the DNS Report test. Yahoo is pretty picky about these things, as is AOL. Any problems with other mail addresses?

It's also possible that yahoo is just overloaded and dropped the connection for whateve reason. Do the messages to through eventually?
