Where can i find the documentation for email connector to the service center 5. I need to open a ticket automatically from my web application in SC5.

RE: email connector to SC5

Are you talking about using Connect-It or SCAuto Email?  Documentation for both can be found on support.peregrine.com

Thanks for responding my email. I was talking about the SCAuto Email. Do you have any examples for this scenario.
Thanks
Jey.

RE: email connector to SC5

Why are you still trying to do it through SC Auto?

As I know SCAuto is still supported, but Peregrine seems to push its customers to connect-it.

If you want to open a ticket from a web application, why don't you try to use connect-it together with a self-implemented eventin-queue in SC?

So:

1) Tell your Web Application to store the data the user entered (in a database, textfile or whatever)
2) Tell Connect-It where to fetch wich data in which timespans
3) Tell SC there is a  new eventin (maybe you can use the standard event-maps for creating a ticket)
4) Tell Connect-It about the eventin and do your mapping
5) Establish your schedulers for processing data

The only thing is, I'm not sure if there is a licence fee for Connect-It in this circumstances ...

We need to create an integration scenario using Connect.It. Connect. It has to integrate with the J2EE application through the use of the XML connector and Service Center 5 with the Service center connector. Here XML connector is our source connector and the Service center is our destination connector. To do the successful mapping between these 2 connectors while configuring the XML connector we need to create a xml file and the XSD/DTD files. Is there any simple  example where I can understand how the xml connector is configured and how do I create the xml file format  and the corresponding  DTD/XSD files for the Connect.it  XML connector understands  to map it with the Service center

RE: email connector to SC5

Still working on that?
I am on a similar job, so if you want we could contact both.
