I am new to the MX1640 and just acquired it from a vendor. I did not receive any CD with it and am not able to find any documentation on how to access the Management console t oconfigure it. Is there some management software that is required to access MX1640? How do I connect to the CLI using hyperterm? Help would be highly appreciated as I do not know what to do.

MRV owns Xyplex line now.

There was a Windows-based software for configuring these, called Focal Point. Not sure if it is still available. Ask your vendor about it.
