When I send email at work from Groupwise through firewall  to outside mail address the subject and contents are missing and attachments are stipped of their file names. eg. at work I use Groupwise, at home Outlook 2000. Mail to home address from other sources is OK. Incoming mail to Groupwise is OK from internal and external sources.

RE: Attachments, subject and content not transmitted

Check the settings on the firewall. It sounds like you need to open up a policy to allow mail to be sent.

Can you give me details on what FW software you are using as this will help.

RE: Attachments, subject and content not transmitted

Is this happening to everyone or anyone else or just you?
