Having an issue with a screen logger when i arrived the morning on the machine looking at the resources i can see 30 channels used. but my issue is that nobody is logged in on the system.

ANy idea why the machine are still locking the call even if there is no activity... note tat i do a recording by interaction and mainly only there is voice trough a QA program.

Are you doing any kind of block recording that could be holding up the screen channels?

You didn't mention whether the channels were tied to QA, ROD or SEA?  Are all the allocated channels for one of these functions all used up?  Is it constantly sitting at 30 channels or does it fluctuate?

Can you query for QA calls during this off period and see where the calls are coming from?

Hi this is for QA..
what do you mean by blcok recording?

it is about 25-30 so it fluctuate form my 55 channel available 45 are assign to QA and form those 45 i have the 25-30 locked.

Regarding the query i have a look on it but it looks like runing correctly without having issue

Block recording is called "Time Interval" recording in Scheduler.  Basically it doesn't use CTI to trigger the recording. It just starts recording at a specified time, and stop recording at the defined stop time.

If you restart the CLS, does it release all the channels?

If i restart the screen logger channel get released... I know this time interval story but my problem is that there is other program runing on the interaction locking the screen channel.. exemple a call is incoming and finsihed after the wrapup time then the screen capture seesm to stop following the nice log. but the channel is not released on the screen logger.

Check you have the latest service pack for the screen logger, my current is 8.8/8.9 SP3.

last service pack is installed... which service pack version is the latest one on the niceCLS 8.9 sp2 or sp3 ?

Yup, both screen and CLS for 8.9 are up to SP3
