How do you reload config on Vanguard?

How do you reload config on Vanguard?

How do you reload config on Vanguard?

Hi there

We have a Motorola Vanguard 6560 that is our default gateway router, I was wondering if there is a command or option that will restart the router as we have updated the config and have been told to manually power down the router and back up again?

I thought id start a thread because I would like to remotely restart the router late at night by issuing a command if possible as we have awkward working hours

Thanks in advance

RE: How do you reload config on Vanguard?

Yes, option # 7 from the main menu is boot, a NODE boot will always reload and re-execute any configuration changes. Depending on software revision, you maybe able to just boot a particular module. However, this can be dicy since different revision of software require different types of boots for a particular change. Best always to perform a NODE boot # 4.
