Object Prompt for Templates

Object Prompt for Templates

Object Prompt for Templates

(OP)
Hi,

The version of MSTR is 7.2.3 and the database is SQL Server.

I have a report which has an Object Prompt to select a list of Templates.

The thing is that I need to have an attrbute or two in the report objects (not on the report itself).

But, as the template is prompted at runtime I am unable to put the attributes in the report objects.Microstrategy does not allow any attributes in the report objects because of the object prompt for templates.

May be there is an easy way to do this but I am unable to think of it and I am kinda at a dead end.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Object Prompt for Templates

I guess you are trying to build an OLAP Service report? The specific flow you specify is probably not supported. You may need to open an enhancement request to support.
