Console 1 question

Console 1 question

Console 1 question

(OP)
This may be the wrong forum, but is anyone running Console 1 on a Linux machine using WINE or some other emulator?  My boss is interested in moving from Windows to a Linux environment, and I'm the only one in our department willing to run Linux on my machine right now.  Any help, advice, or links to other resources on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

RE: Console 1 question

There is a version of ConsoleOne that will run on Linux, only issue is, GroupWise and Zenworks snap-ins do not work properly.

You can find this linux version of ConsoleOne in the download section of Novell's web site.

I to am in a Windoze to Linux workstation transition, to get my job done I also utilize VMWare so I can just fire up that Windowz workstation to get the job done if I do not know how to do it under Linux ... yet.

Thanks for the info.  I've looked on Novell's website before but not been able to find the linux console 1.  I'll take another look.

Thanks again.

RE: Console 1 question

Why dont' you just fire up consoleone on the gui from the server console?

(Okay, that was uncalled for) :D
