EMC CDL300 and Commvault Galaxy backup software

EMC CDL300 and Commvault Galaxy backup software

Has anyone out there configured an EMC CDL300 disk library using Commvault Galaxy?

We will use the CDL as a virtual tape library rather than a mag-lib.

We are having problems with Commvault talking to the CDL.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

RE: EMC CDL300 and Commvault Galaxy backup software

How is your CDL setup?

1. What model of virtual TLU have you chosen?
2. Is the chosen TLU model supported by ComVault?
3. What model of virtual tape drives have you chosen?
4. Do you have all required drivers on your backup server to recognize both the robot and the tape drives?
5. Have you confirmed the required virtual devices are recognized to the backup server OS?

Just some ideas to get you started.
