QT oddities- something conflicting.....???

(OP)
Hello!

What would cause QT to function normally EXCEPT on this one URL that everybody else running QT is able to run??

http://digitalmedia.utk.edu/ramgen/7407.shtml

Every system I have using QT runs this URL EXCEPT one other computer that is doing the very same thing!!! These computers try to run this movie in QT and then time out UNLESS I have just run Real player!!--...after just running RP the problem URL plays BUT only without any sound options??????

QT has been uninstalled and reinstall 2-3 times and I don't think QT is soley at fault-just some configuration or something???? I tried MIME adjustments out the wazoo. No luck :(

This happens on two PC's running XP Pro Sp2

Thanks for your time!!!!
dan
