I/O Error from Reading or Writing UserPref.DAT

I/O Error from Reading or Writing UserPref.DAT

Whenever I log in or off PeachTree, a error window pops up and showing the following message:

I/O Error in file 'M:\company\unimargs\UserPref.DAT'.Error Reading or Writing to the file. Select Help for more information.

Can anyone tell me what is going on and how to fix such problem. Thank you very much.

RE: I/O Error from Reading or Writing UserPref.DAT

The file may have become corrupt or lost.  It also may have become read only.  Do a dirctory to check that the file exists and then check it's attributes.
