Interbase 5.5 and Windows 2003 SBS SP1

Interbase 5.5 and Windows 2003 SBS SP1

(OP)
I can not get my Interbase 5.5 to run correctly on my new server. I installed Interbase 5.5 on my personal Windows 2003 SBS Server (No SP1) and it will open the server manager. I installed Interbase 5.5 on my new server running Windows 2003 SBS SP1 and I cannot open the Interbase Server manager or run the application that uses the Interbase server. The Services are running and I have removed and reinstalled several times.

Any idea why?

Is there somthing in SP1?

Thanks,

RE: Interbase 5.5 and Windows 2003 SBS SP1

Well, InterBase 7.1 runs fine on W2003 ... InterBase 5.5 is very old software that wasn't even tested on W2000 - why do you expect it to work on W2003?
