Verso Telemate call accounting

I find it a little too much overkill. Call Accounting Mate is something I tried recently and loved. It has a built-in web server, embedded SQL database and email reporting. For 25 users its $375.00. How can you go wrong. I tried it against a Norstar, Siemens HiPath, a Magix and yesterday on a Cisco Call Manager.

we have verso's telemate package, can't say i would recommend it. we have had lots of problems with it. finally about a month ago they gave up and told us we had a prob with the harddrive on our server. it is a raid array so that theory didn't fly with us. we finally wiped the server out and started over with a new install of the os and telemate software. even after that they had to work on it a couple days to get it working right.

basically, i have a problem with their tech support. they always want to point to something we have to do to fix the problem, even though we are paying for support.

we will be looking at other packages before we renew this one again.

I have also used RSI's Shadow and Revolution ( and I have tried phonetrak from Control Systems. These products are more expensive than Call Accounting Mate but tend to be compatability tested from the major manufacturers.
