I am not familiar with JD Edwards software, but I do need to communicate with it from custom developed software. Does it support/provide OCX, DLL, API, COMM etc interfaces? What is recommended. It is actually intended for communicating with production machines - so that the ERP can extract information from the specialised machines controlling the production facilities.

RE: JD Edwards Software Interface to external software

I would assume you are talking about the EnterPrise One product,, not the World Version. I have not seem very many JDE people here on this site.. www.jdelist.com, is a better site for your questions,, be sure to post under,, the appropiate version of the software,, for a more correct answer..

Thanks JMD0252. I am not familiar with all the different versions and capabilities - will take your advice and visit the list.
