Can't get liveupdate??

Can't get liveupdate??

(OP)
I recently installed a cable connection, since then I have not been able to download new virus definitions! I know this has something to do with changing my configuration in Norton as to how I connect to the internet, but I can't get anything to work! Please help I think I may have a virus or something really need to update, this isn't the only problems I've had since getting a cable connection.

RE: Can't get liveupdate??

I am running Norton System Works 2001, i have a cable connection, but also use AOL bring your own provider. Thanks for any help you can provide

RE: Can't get liveupdate??

Well when you run live update it asks how you want to connect. Choose internet. If your PC is configured to use the internet correctly it should just go out and find what it needs through that.
