looking for btrieve.exe, ver. 6.15 for DOS!

Hi forum,

we try to buy a Btrieve Version 6.15 for MS-DOS. any ideas?

RE: looking for btrieve.exe, ver. 6.15 for DOS!

Since Btrieve 6.15 for DOS is no longer available, you would have to use Pervasive.SQL 2000i which should support your DOS application with no code changes at all in almost all cases. If you are trying to run this application in native DOS you would have to run it on a network and use the client/server version of Pervasive.SQL 2000i which has a couple of native DOS requesters; brequest.exe, breqnt.exe, and breqtcp.exe, which can be used on MS DOS, IBM DOS, and even OpenDOS. Pervasive.SQL 2000i contains a complete version of Btrieve, version 7.9, inside it as well as a full ODBC native SQL engine so you can access the data relationally if you so desire.

Please contact Pervasive Sofware (www.pervasive.com, salessupport@pervasive.com, or 1-800-BTR-IEVE) and ask for your area Sales rep and they will be able to assist you with a fully supported product which can be configured to support your application in whatever DOS environment you need to run.
