how can i write an assembly code inside delphi to print reciept paper

i have a databse program written in delphi 5 prof
and i have some reciept to print on a dot matrix printer
i used the printer object in delphi but this appears
very hard on this type of printers.
i ask if i can print using assembly code if
this will be very quick and apropriate on this printer.

This has nothing to do with InterBase, better post to the Delphi groups.
