Pervasive 8.1 Client with Peachtree 2004

Pervasive 8.1 Client with Peachtree 2004

Pervasive 8.1 Client with Peachtree 2004

We are running Peachtree 2004 with Pervasavie 2000i client.  Things run well in that configuration.

Problem is, we need to upgrade our database server to Pervasive 8.6 Server and Pervasive 2000i client doesn't play well with the new server version.  This means that we have to upgrade our 2000i clients to at least 8.1 client.  Peachtree 2004 does not play at all with Pervasive 8.1 client because of the mismatched btrieve's.

Has anyone successfully got Peachtree 2004 with btrieve v6.15 to work with Pervasive 8.x client running btrieve 8.1?

The only solution I can think of is to upgrade our accounting software, but we don't have 35k to do that right now.

I'm at an impass.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
