Memory not being released when closing a form.

Memory not being released when closing a form.

I hope someone can help me. Our application is not freeing up memory it has taken after a form is closed. We have tried forcing dispose and garbage collection both; neither one work. However, minimizing the app releases the memory. And the memory useage just keeps going up and up, even if I just open and close the same form. I think it's tied to the JVMS garbage collection but I am unable to switch to the Sun JVM(boss won't let me). Does anyone know a way to either trick windows into thinking the form has been minimized or force the memory to be freed?
