Security issue with Door opening controler

Security issue with Door opening controler

Security issue with Door opening controler

(OP)
Please notice that there is currently a security issue when using the DOC (Door opening controler) with a numeric opening digit and BCM 3.X:

The DOC notifies a pre-defined set when someones ringing at the door. If this set is call-forwarded to an external number, the DOC will open the door instead of just doing nothing.

A patch for this issue will be relased on Feb 28th 2005.

Workaround:
Change the opening digit to * (asterisk)
Don't use the Call-forward feature, use line-redirection instead
