Zoom and Switch Transition Help

I am working on putting together a photo montage and wanted to know if it is possible to have a transition from one picture to another where you zoom up to a face in the picture and have it change into the face in the next picture? How do do that?

Use motioneffect to zoom into face, and then use disolve crosover transition and then use motioneffect again to zoom out from the next picture.

Depending on exactly what you are trying to achieve, the Zoom transition might achieve this more easily.
