Although not specifically listed in the supported OS list, has anyone here ever tried running ZoneAlarm on 2K Server? I'm posting this in the W2K Server forum also... Nate Gagne

Yep, using it now. To start with there are lots of prompts for permission to either access the internet or network but as their logo states, "it soon quietens down". I haven't experienced any real problems with it except half of the stuff asking for permissions I have had to research into to find out exactly what they're doing. I still need it though as this is a test station using just a 56K dial-up.

Hope that helps.

We used it before getting our Velociraptor 1.1 Firewall. It worked great until I also installed Norton Antivirus Coporate Edition (both 7.5 and 7.6). Because of space limitations I moved from server to client on NAV.

Every morning when a random user logged on the network (and nothing more), the server would crash with a BSOD stating "MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS". MS Knowledge base was useless and the best information I had was in German (thanks for translating web pages!).

Removed ZA Pro after getting the firewall and no problems crashing to date. J.R. Juiliano
