Looking for some help with a zone dial plan. My zone prefix is 1008. I built an SPN of 1008 with a FLEN of 15 (1008+NPA+NXX+1234). The normal RLI keeps the calls local to the PBX to account for a cheaper LD rate. I use the ARRN feature of the SDRR prompt of the SPN to send the local and toll free calls out to a different RLI which then uses the virtual trunks and sends the calls out of the SRG50 PSTN. Everything works and the ZDP only needs one SPN which is very cool. My problem is that because I need to have a FLEN of 15 to wait for all the digits in a 1+ dial string, all other "shorter" calls like local 7 digit dialing and 911 dialing end up being delayed by the end of digit timer which in my case is 8 seconds. A perfect world would allow each ARRN to have its own FLEN which would solve my problem. Can anyone think of a better way to do this? At the very least, how do I lower the end of digit timer from 8 seconds to maybe 4-5 seconds? To account for all of the FLENS, I would need 24 SPNs for each ZDP that I enable.

Any thoughts?

i would do the software.. your waiting for two timers.. idt.. inter-digit then add that to your eod.. both can be modified via the rdb timer

at the cntl, enter yes or chg.. can't recall but then the timer and new value
