In our ITIL project one of my tasks is to create an automatic, daily input to CMDB in HP Openview Service Desk in order to have an updated configuration database for our helpdesk. As a daily manual tool I am running dsreport.exe which allow me to run reports on any objects in an NDS tree, but I miss a lot of details. In Console One I get “fresh” data from the Zenworks log, but I have a major problem ( I know ITIL better than NDS / Novell) and that is…

Where is / what is the name of the database (the raw Zenworks log) which ConsoleOne picks from? Here is a lot of user information which is not found via dsreport.exe / NDS. It should be possible to make a script which picks records and export them directly into CMDB?!

Very best regards
