Hi,
I have set up a NIS domain on my Redhat ES 3.0 server. This works fine (almost), except the users cannot change their password from the clients using yppasswd. I have the rpc.yppasswdd running on the server and when people change their password, it says: "The NIS password has been changed on <server>".
But.. The next time i want to log in I have to use the old password.
I can then run a ypinit -m, then restart the ypserv and the password will work.
Anyone's got any idea why this is happening?
/Christian
