Screw up the software...
I upgraded a customer from a working 10.1 software to 10.2 software with embedded VM

Now my custom pre recorded messages for the AutoAttendants don't play

I have spend a whole hour to fix it but no, they really screwed up this one

I'm just curious, there must of been a reason for the upgrade, was there an issue at the 10.1 version on the customers system..?

I don't know the reason but they were installed on 10.0.1 and appearantly the customer discovered (here?) hat there is a newer version available so he called and demanded to upgrade and our sales guy agreed with that although this version was not available when installed.
So, now they discovered not to upgrade unless there is a real reason for it (as I always advise) and now we are back on 10.0.1 with working custom AA prompts.

Yeah, a sales tool

Or stick the large object where the sun doesn't shine....

Did you log an iposs ticket?

Hail the tripod!

Holdmusic, you really sound like Avaya now :)
Seriously Avaya, test the software and stop breaking working stuff over and over again.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Think of it as them releasing a Greatest Hits compilation of bugs :)

[lol]

Gone from the charts but not from our hearts.

That will be V10.0.3 when they re introduce all previous bugs back to V3.2 (possibly further) to see which of us are awake & can remember that far back.
