I have upgraded my HDD in my XP Home w/SP3 Dell PC and now my 2nd "Limited" ID gets the following message...
Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, or that your network is functioning correctly. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

Here is some background. I have upgraded from a 160GB SATA drive to a 500GB SATA drive in my Dell. I have 6 partitions with a DVD/RW as "D". I partitioned the new drive with the same number, just bigger. I had Windows XPsp3 on C: and Windows 2000sp4 on I:. I booted XP into safe mode and copied the data from drives E:, F:, G:, H:, & I: to the new HDD (I would fix the drive letters later). I then booted Windows 2000 in safe mode and copied over drive C:. I have a fat16 utility partition in the front of the drive and used ptedit.exe to make the new C: bootable and set the utility partition like it was on the old HDD. With very minor issues I was able to boot Win2000 with no problem and then XP with minor issues into my main ID that is an admin. I have to re-copy some of the ID files and still cannot get onto the limited ID.
Where is the place to fix or change the security or permissions? Do the IDs "LocalService" or "NetworkService" (they are hidden) have anything to do with it? Thank you.
