I'm using Office 2007\Vista Business to convert some of our manuals and standard forms from Word to xps format so that they can be easily available on our intranet.

Anybody know if the standard IIS6 & indexing service will pick up the text content so that we can quickly search rather than put in hundreds of links manually ?

Failing that, anyway of editing the xps file to put in keywords ?

I did see this comment in the following link.

"Windows Vista and XPS will allow CAD users and their teammates to collaborate more easily, work more productively through the operating system's advanced search capabilities,"

The Search ability of Vista takes some getting used to and reading the "Tips for finding files" via Help and Support is quite rewarding and enlightening.

Hi Linney,

Excellent post. Another Star for you.

I'm kind of surprised that MS don't provide native support for a aluable new function.

Anywho, where would be all be without you...Thanks for the links.
