We have a Hipath 4000 with Xpressions and Loop Start Trunks that will NOT release when the caller hangs up on the Xpressions. Xpressions (while listening on a Butt Set)just keeps talking and does'nt acknowledge a disconnect. The trunks revert to dialtone when the caller hangs up but again, Xpressions just keeps talking over dialtone, C.O. message of taking to long to dial, and eventually reorder tone. Is thier a timer that can be set or some other trick???? Thanks.

Xpressions and Loop Start Trunks on Hipath 4000

Check your trunk supervision settings in COT or COP - I forget which, but you may have to try a different setting.
If you mess with it I would create a new one and switch the loop start trunks in question to that rather than just changing the one assigned. You don't want to mess anything else up by accident!
