I am adding this to the XP forum too.
All,
The synchronisation of profiles, and home directories has never worked properly. Symptoms include:
1. Not synchronsising some files (such as database files)
2. Sychronising the whole userdata folder that contains all the homefolders of all the users on our network!
3. Most important: Automatically switches to offline folder, so that when you try to do something that relies on network access, errors abound until you connect again.
Previously the last issue I though had something to do with the default autodisconnect feature, but it is far from that. Mostly, that is the issue we want to solve here, but I figure if we tackle the general synchronising issues as a whole, then this issue will disappear.
Any ideas?
