i'm looking for a way to stop syncronizing Data file when i log off from WinXP Pro on 2000 server. we really don't need to sync the data...

another question is more simple (probably), when it trys to syncronize data, it asks me to log into the network if i'm logged onto PC locally. how do i make it so that it's already logged into the network when i log into the PC?

any help is appreciated!!!

I believe you have to locate the folder or files it's trying to synchronize, right-click and disable the option to "make available offline".

As for logging onto the network...

When you first boot up and hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, there should be an advanced or details button that shows what domain you are logging into. Make sure this isn't the local PC's computer name, but instead has the network domain listed.

In Explorer, if you go to Tools / Synchronise and then choose the Setup button, the option to not synchronise during logoff can be unticked there.
